E Più Ti Penso LIVE!

Look what I found!

Il Volo is singing E Più Ti Penso at an Italian TV show "Domenica in... Onda" on April 24th!
What a beautiful song with stunning interpretation! I loved it so much!

Once again, I have no idea what they talked about but I was able to pick up "America" so I guess they talked about Il Volo's US album release :D

Here's the lyrics!

E più ti penso e più mi manchi
ti vedo coi miei occhi stanchi
è notte fonda penso sempre a te
chiudo gli occhi e penso a te
malgrado tutto sei la cosa più importante
e mi ritorni in mente dolce come sei
mi chiedo senza te come vivrei
e mi rispondo non potessi rivederti
lo so già che farei non vivrei

E' notte fonda e sei lontano
senza di te ho un vuoto intorno
e forse ti ho già perso ormai
stringo forte il cuscino sei qui vicino
e più ti penso e più mi manchi
son poca cosa senza te
mi sento un pesce che
non ha l'acqua per nuotare
respira senza te
senza te
senza te
e se per caso non potessi rivederti
lo so già che farei morirei

Yay, a new Il Volo video! Well, it's not really a new video since we've already seen it here. However it certainly has some new clips in the beginning as each member introduce himself in English. Love, love, love their accent :)

Preparation for the world wide campaign! :D :D :D Can't wait!

Il Volo performed O Sole Mio with a French singer Julie Zenatti on a French TV show Sidaction. I don't think it was the best idea for her to sing TOGETHER with Il Volo. I think it would've been better if she sung a part of the song and give the rest to Il Volo.

Il Volo's debut album "Il Volo" was released in November 2010 in Italy and became a platinum hit. Hope they become huge in America too!

Wow I guess they were called "The TRYO" before they finally settled down with the name "Il Volo." Very interesting. I like the name Il Volo better :)

I found this! Omg, I was so thrilled to find something on my own. Il Volo was on an Italian radio show called "Deejay Chiama Italia" on January 19, 2011. There are videos too! except I only understand certain words like "three tenors" and "sing" and "thank you" ... and I think that's it. Lol.

Although I didn't understand what the heck is going on (I enjoyed their accent!) I thought it was funny how they were kinda huddled together because they were sharing a microphone while the older guys had one for each. At one point, the old guy in white jacket started to say some Italian word that sounded like he was dropping f-bombs. And he actually said "what the fuck" in English when he was talking about We Are The World 25 For Haiti. Lol. I'm guessing he said something like when Il Volo started to sing, all the other singers looked back to check who they are and supposedly said "wtf."

The old guy with black glasses who looks like Nicolas Cage in the movie Sorcerer's Apprentice (lol) must be Il Volo's manager whom I cannot recall the name at this point. I think he's some kind of big shot in the music industry but his name slipped out of my mind. oh well.

I love how soft Ignazio's talking voice is when his singing voice is like an exploding nuclear bomb. The old guy in white jacket is dropping words like "Oprah Winfrey," "American Idol" and "Glee" but that's the only part I understood. Maybe he was asking if Il Volo will go on big shows like those.

Click here for the part 1/2 and click here for the part 2/2.
Please leave me a comment if you speak Italian! :'(

What a great honor!! :D This was recorded in February 17, 2010 which is right after they recorded We Are The World 25 For Haiti in America. If you wanna learn more about Queen Rania of Jordan, click here.

I love the Queen's dress!

Great job guys!

She's so beautiful

That was a great performance in an extremely crowded room O_O I wish they performed in a room equipped with descent sound system. Ah, whatever. They still sounded really good with karaoke-quality microphones.

Here are some pictures! You can see more on their official website.

Gianluca, Piero and Ignazio

They had a showcase at the Gramercy hotel in New York City. According to the official site,
The showcase was for select tastemakers and accounts to promote their debut US album release. The three song set for those in attendance included “’O Sole Mio”, “Il Mundo” and “Un Amore Cosi Grande”.
Hope it went well and now picture time ;D

With English subtitle!!! Thank you!!! Grazie!!!! FYI, Humberto Gatica (the guy who said he thought they were "fake") is a renowned producer who has worked with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and Celin Dion. So happy to know that Il Volo is having an opportunity to work some of the greatest producers of our time :D

UGH. That embedded VEVO player or whatever is slow as a snail so if you wanna just watch it on Youtube without English subtitles, click here. That's why I transcribed what each said because I'm not gonna deal with that stupid VEVO player ever again!

Gianluca: Music to me is life. It's a way to convey what's inside me.
Ignazio: Music is like family. It's something that you breathe everyday.
Piero: To me, music is everything. It's like food and oxygen. When we're in the studio for hours and hours recording, sometimes we forget to eat. Music becomes everything.

Yay, fly high Il Volo!

I thought this finding was funny because I actually watched this video like 20 times and probably cried good 3 times. There were more or less known as "Il Trio" or even "TRYO" at that time. Not sure if any of those were the group's official name. Someone please enlighten me :'(

As many of you may know, We Are the World 25 for Haiti was released on February 2010 as a charity song for the Haitian people. You can even see their names listed on this Wikipedia page! Anyway, I would never ever thought of a possibility of Il Volo featured in this music video until ILTRIOTV on Youtube said so. I'm guessing either this was Il Volo's official account before they changed the name to Il Volo. Anyway, here's the music video for We Are the World 25 for Haiti. Do you see them?

All three of them in the left-top corner!

Gianluca and Piero

Gianluca and half of Ignazio and Piero D:

You know where they are ;)

I think it's really cool that they were invited by Quincy Jones (executive producer) to join this project when they were practically nobody in American music market. I'm happy for them :)
