  2. I saw Il Volo in Chicago September 28. They were absolutely spectacular. My only criticism is that the background graphics were totally distracting. The performers needed nothing to enhance their act. They are brilliant and totally entertaining. Sometimes I had to look away or hide my eyes to avoid a headache. Also, the opening act lasted too long. Il Volo is breathtaking! Love their album too.

  3. I just saw Il Volo in concert in Melbourne FL. OMG what wonderful voices. I listen to their cd "EVERY" day. I grew up listening to this type of music (Italian classics) and to have someone so young and talented bring it back is amazing and so so enjoyable. Keep up the good work and hopefully I will get to see them again soon. I hope they come to the SC area. I agree with the previous posting - their background is a bit "talky" and needs to be cut back a little so it doesn't distract from them. I also admire Ignazio for his loving tenderness to Mia. They all showed such tenderness and maturity dedicating their American tour to this beautiful child that is going through so much pain. God has truly blessed these young men with so much above and beyond their voices. Kudo to the parents for doing such a good job...... God Bless and much success.

  4. I saw Il Volo in San Francisco on October 14th. I am deeply moved by this trio and for good reason. Earlier this year, while driving through Italy, I had the song "It's Now or Never" by Elvis Presley in my head for days. Then one morning, I could not find an English speaking channel or CNN so I started watching Italian videos. The very first one was Il Volo singing O Sole Mio. I watched the entire video and was astonished. I thought they were singing the Elvis song in Italian but the voices and faces of these boys captivated me! I ran and got a pen and paper, wrote down the name of the group and stuck it in my wallet. When I got home, I googled them and to my pleasant surprise, they were to appear on "American Idol" the very next night! I am such a big fan and everyone and have bought their cd for gifts. The concert was one of the best in my lifetime and people had flown in from out of state just for the show!

  7. I saw Il Volo last night in St. Louis. I was so anxious for this concert and it far exceeded my expectations. These young boys are so individually talented, and together their voices make magic. I sat through two hours of pure entertainment and can't wait till they return. Most of their songs were sung in Italian, but they also sang a few show tunes in English, so there was something for everyone. I have a few opera CDs (Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras, Il Divo), so many of the songs their song were familiar to me, but the show stoppers were
O Sole Mio, Mama, Granada, and Funiculi Funicula (?spelling?). To anyone considering seeing this group in person, run - don't walk - to get your tickets. You won't be sorry.

  8. I'm taking my mentally challenged son tonight to Fresno to see IL VOLO...he simply loves their music and so does his mother. I've injured my back and sitting on heating pad all day so I can make the concert tonight....I know we won't be let down. These boys have truly been blessed with beautiful voices and I've prayed they young men will never loose their way in the world.
